What writers want is time to write a good story. Then they ask for book reviews. They publish and then do some kind of promoting. Then the cycle begins again; with
researching and the story, book reviews, finding the right publisher,
promoting and repeat cycle.

One thing I have learned to do is listen to other writers and when I find some little service I can do for them in return for their help I try to do it. There is much to learn and if you are ever to learn this business I think we have to read as well as listen to others in this business.
